As a mother of four girls, I understand the issues that come along with parenting children and youth of all ages.  Some of these issues include understanding the different parenting styles of you and your partner, how to parent children with specific behavior or emotional needs, and how to help the children through developmental phases such as entering day care for the first time, or understanding teenage anxiety.

What to expect:

The first session will include some basic paperwork, discuss the issues, and develop some goals.  If the issue is regarding your child, I ask you attend without the child for the first session.

How long will it take?

We can work on whatever time schedule you desire.  However, it generally takes four to six weeks to learn new skills and habits. During that time, I will have a good sense of the issues, strengths and weaknesses.  We will then evaluate together and make decisions regarding progress and further goals.

What types of problems do you help with?

I have worked with parents on a full range of issues including figuring out parenting styles, helping with discipline methods, developing sleep routines for your child, managing a child’s behavior, and helping understand teenage anxiety.

What do I do now?

Now that you have some basic information I hope you will give me a call:
